Yippee, new music!

So I'm a little obsessed with The Replacements and Paul Westerberg. Today I downloaded PW's new album from Amazon for 49 cents. It was 49 cents because the album title is 49. PW is a bit eccentric. I haven't listened to it yet but for fiddy cent I won't complain. Now, has anyone seen my player?

I did my first amazon mp3 purchase over the weekend. I love it is not that darn apple codec and all DRM filled.

One thing that you have to be careful of is you can not redownload what you purchased like you can in itunes. You can contact support, but it is not as easy. For someone like me who redoes his PC every 3 months I need to make sure I have a burned copy.

49 cents is a steal

Yep, I don't ipod or itunes period. And that's some good advice for making a backup. I got a 4mb USB drive not doing anything.

Between Husker Du and The Replacements, I prefer the early Husker Du (and I saw one of their last concerts). Don't get me wrong I like the early Replacements, but they really lost their way circa Tim.

As far as Westerberg as a solo artist, the stuff I like the most of his are the songs he made for the Singles soundtrack.
