Silly Ebay Stuff

Since I've been bitten by the Tiki bug, I did a little shopping for something to hold my rum. I thought these little tiki hut mugs were neat. I'll bet my guests will feel that much closer to paradise when they're sipping a Mai Tai from one of them. I've got some vacation coming up soon and I'm thinking of hitting the antique shops and Salvation Army to see what items I might find. But if you'd like to part with your Aku Aku rum barrel from the Stardust Casino, give me a shout!

Holy cow. Good luck. I live in Lincoln and am trying, very slowly unfortunately, to build up a tiki mug collection, and the antique stores around here don't help very often. I wish there was a decent tiki scene around here that would add some collectors, but no.

Hi Ryan! When I get my tiki bar built, I'll give you a heads up. Thanks for the heads up on the mug situation around here. I'll keep my eyes open.

Good luck. I actually just found your page today off of BeerOrKid. But I've found that, if you're hoping for any tiki stuff, your best bet is to look in Omaha, maybe on a trip home from the Mt Fuji Inn. haha.

I've actually got a lead on a couple Mt. Fuji mugs. When (I hope) I get them, I'll put up some pics. Mt Fuji's is a favorite place of mine, they don't have enough mugs left that they'd sell. Well, maybe if the price was right but I don't have that kind of money. :)

This is "Ryan," BTW... Where did you find Mt Fuji mugs?! I've been looking online and can't find anyone willing to sell, anywhere. Those things are on my top three wish list.

Hi Ryan, my hunt for Mt Fuji mugs has lead me to Seward. Sometime next week I'm to go out and dig through boxes of stuff in my in-laws basement!
